Cytopoint is a non-drug treatment that works like a dog’s immune system to target and neutralize proteins that send itch signals to the brain, which can trigger scratching, licking, and chewing. This can help damaged skin heal and stop the constant scratching that can impact a dog’s long-term health. Each dose is effective for four to eight weeks and can be repeated as needed.
